Alaskan Artists: A creative bond of a brother and sister.
Inspired by Alaska’s enduring artistic spirit, each
design begins as an original hand-carved piece by
owner and Alaskan local artist Alex Pappas, engraved
into wood and precious metals and rooted in the
land. Raised in Alaska and apprenticed under the late
Haida Master Carver Frank Mooney (Yan Gowan) of
the Eagle Clan in Hydaburg, Alex honors traditional
teachings while expressing his own vision. Co-owner
Jessie Pappas then translates each work into digital
form, preserving its intricate detail. Together they
bring authentic Alaskan art to a curated collection
of home goods, apparel, souvenirs, and gifts—every
piece reflecting family, heritage, and the bond
between art and land.
