  • Red Hawaiian: This pure solar evaporated sea salt from the tropical Hawaiian Islands has a slightly sweet finish and is bright in color as a result of the red alaea volcanic clay.
  • Australian White: Harvested off the cold Antarctic waters of Southern Australian, this bright white sea salt is rich in naturally occurring minerals an has a tangy, clean flavor. Freshly grind to season or finish veggies, pasta, potatoes, and eggs.

Ingredients for Sweet & Salty Chocolate Dipped Bacon

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.

  2. Cut the bacon down to the size you want your finished treats. (We recommend full strips, half strips, or even 1” squares depending on how many you are serving).

  3. Line a sheet pan with foil. Arrange the bacon on the pan and sprinkle evenly with the French Toast Sugar Shaker. Bake until crispy, approximately 20-25 minutes depending on thickness. Flip bacon once while cooking. 

  4. Meanwhile, place the chocolate in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave in 20 second increments, stirring between each time until chocolate is fully melted. 

  5. Allow the bacon to cool slightly. Dip each piece halfway (or ¾ way) into the melted chocolate and place on a sheet of parchment paper. You might need to spoon the chocolate onto the bacon to get full coverage. 

  6. Before the chocolate is set, finish with a sprinkle of the Rainbow Sea Salt. Allow to cool at room temperature until the chocolate is firm.
